Lancaster sustainability Hub

welcome to the home of sustainability in north lancashire!

The Lancaster Sustainability Hub is a Green Rose initiative hosted by Green Rose CIC and in partnership with Food Futures, North Lancashire’s sustainable food network.

The Hub allows people to access free information and advice about home energy savings and informs North Lancashire residents about grants and benefits for those struggling with high energy bills.

Staffed five days a week, the Sustainability Hub is a place to gather tips on everything from draught-proofing and low-energy light bulbs to solar panels and heat pumps. It also provides advice drop-ins, displays, and free educational workshops for those wanting to learn more.

FoodFutures is hosting a drop-in session every Wednesday from 2-4pm. The session is designed for North Lancashire residents to learn about community food projects, share their experiences, and ask questions.

Workshops, discussions, and citizen journalism training will also be offered. Check out their calendar for upcoming events.

As a shared space, The Sustainability Hub also host a collection point for Relic Plastic and plastic bottle top sorting parties, and social events for Local Food Champions to meet and share ideas.

What’s on at the Hub?

We’re looking for individuals and organisations committed to sustainability to use our venue. Whether it’s a workshop, drop-in, or community gathering, let’s collaborate!

If you have a sustainability-related idea and are keen to use our space, please contact info@greenrose.org.uk
