Work with us!
Home Energy and Retrofit Advisor
Lancashire-based, Flexible hours (part-time or full-time), £25,925 FTE + 5% pension.
We’re seeking a new advisor to join our friendly, growing team. You’ll work across our channels – primarily on the phone, but also via video call, and at community events across Lancashire. You’ll be providing one-to-one energy advice to people from all backgrounds and situations. They may be struggling to heat their homes, looking to save money on their bills, or wanting advice on local installers and the latest low carbon technology.
We’re looking for a people-person first and foremost – someone confident starting conversations, listening carefully and with empathy, and creating straightforward next steps. You should have a flexible approach to work and a positive attitude towards getting involved in new projects and shifting priorities. If you love helping others, thinking on your feet, and solving problems, we’d like to hear from you.
You should have an interest in the environment and sustainability, but we can teach you all the technical information – you don’t need a background in this kind of work.
We are flexible about hours and can accommodate between 22.5 and 37.5 hours a week (i.e. 0.6 to 1 Full Time Equivalent).
The role is primarily home based – but we are ideally looking to recruit someone living in Lancashire. There will be occasional travel to our head office in Lancaster and to other locations in Lancashire for meetings and events.
We welcome people returning to the workplace and bringing transferable skills from different sectors.

Marketing and Communications Lead
Lancashire-based, Flexible hours (part-time or full-time), £31,110 FTE + 5% pension.
We’re recruiting a Marketing and Communications Lead to help us better support vulnerable households, improve energy efficiency, and reduce carbon emissions across Lancashire.
This is a great opportunity to shape and grow marketing activity in an organisation where impact matters more than profit. You’ll lead the move from reactive marketing to planned, strategic campaigns that drive service uptake, support frontline advice teams, and clearly communicate impact to partners and funders.
You don’t need prior experience in energy or retrofit — curiosity, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to social and environmental impact are far more important. You’ll enjoy high autonomy, flexible working, and a supportive, non-hierarchical team culture with no sales targets or commission.
The role is primarily home-based with occasional travel across Lancashire. Applicants should ideally live in Lancashire.
